Three bodies were found near the second largest quake lake in southwestern China's Sichuan province, medical teams said on Saturday (June 7). The bodies were seen lying near an overturned bulldozer where workers are continuing to drain the dangerous swelling lakes which pose a threat to surrounding villages. Hundreds of people began to drain the Xiaojiaqiao quake lake on Friday (June 6) afternoon, the second largest quake lake formed by landslides. Draining continued throughout Saturday. Though three bodies were seen at the scene, some witnesses put the death toll at five. It was not immediately clear if the bodies were those of workers who were operating the bulldozers or whether they were of victims of landslides or aftershocks.
